WEFT's SUMMER APPEAL FUNDRAISER!

HELP SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL COMMUNITY RADIO STATION: CHAMPAIGN-URBANA'S WEFT 90.1 FM

Donate Now

One of the first things people notice when touring WEFT's studio is the extensive collection of music housed in the Great Hall

Every wall is lined with floor-to-ceiling shelves packed with music CDs that represent years of community-supported programming.

Vintage treasures spanning every genre imaginable make up WEFT's exceptional and irreplaceable archive.

These CDs are more than music; they are part of WEFT's history, a reflection of the diverse voices and sounds that have defined WEFT for decades.

PLEASE DONATE TODAY

As technology changes, however, preserving access to this extraordinary collection presents a new challenge: acquiring and maintaining the equipment needed to play these CDs. That's where YOU can help. Your donation can make a difference. Supporting WEFT helps ensure that this little community radio station can continue to broadcast this vast library to listeners here in East Central Illinois (and the world) for years to come.

Vehicle Donation

Donating your car, truck, van, SUV, boat, motorcycle, ATV, RV, trailer or airplane has never been easier!

You can give CARS (Charitable Adult Rides & Services) a call at 1-855-500-RIDE or go through their online donation process and designate WEFT as the non-profit beneficiary.

CARS will schedule the vehicle for pick up by a licensed tow complany at no cost to you. You will be provided a donation receipt at the time of pick up. They evaluate each vehicle with the goal of ensuring that WEFT receives the maximum amount of money possible.

Within 30 days of the sale of the vehicle, you will receive a thank you letter, which you may use as a tax receipt for vehicles that sell for $500 or less. If your donated vehicle sells for more than $500, CARS will mail you an additional receipt known as "IRS Form 1098-C, Contributions of Motor Vehicles, Boats, and Airplanes" if your tax identification number has been provided.
