Homegrown Organic Radio!
Fall Fundraising Drive

2024 WEFT T-Shirt

On October 20, 1975, a group of broadcasting agronomists planted the seeds that became Prairie Air, Incorporated. Over the next several years, a community radio station sprouted. The first WEFT broadcast at 90.1 FM occurred on September 25, 1981.

100% homegrown, WEFT provides a fresh alternative to the mainstream by cultivating a wide variety of music, public affairs, and informational programming - harvested and distributed to the people of East Central Illinois and our worldwide community.

It takes the support of listeners like you to plan for our future growth. During our Fall Fundraiser, you can donate here on our website or mail in our donation letter. For a donation of $90.10 or more, you can receive a WEFT "Homegrown Organic Radio" T-shirt.
