Winter Appeal 2024

2024 Winter Appeal Letter

Dear Friends of WEFT

As we approach the end of 2024, holiday celebrations are underway. In the cold and darkness of the winter solstice, we wish you the companionship of music and public affairs that inform, inspire and entertain.

Winter can be a time of reflection that can inspire new dreams. Here at WEFT, our volunteers treasure the opportunity to curate local radio that contributes to our community's well-being. Whether you're gathering with family and friends, or alone and reflecting, radio has the power to connect us all as we celebrate or hibernate.

However you navigate the winter months, tune in to WEFT to engage with diverse programming. With our loyal listeners, donors and community partners by our side, WEFT looks forward to serving our multi-faceted community well into the future.

To learn more about volunteer opportunities, email:

Please donate and renew your membership to WEFT Community Radio. If you received our Winter Appeal letter you may return that with your gift or click the "Donate Now" button. Thanks for your continued support throughout the year.

You can give CARS (Charitable Adult Rides & Services) a call at 1-855-500-RIDE or go through their online donation process and designate WEFT as the non-profit beneficiary.

CARS will schedule the vehicle for pick up by a licensed tow complany at no cost to you. You will be provided a donation receipt at the time of pick up. They evaluate each vehicle with the goal of ensuring that WEFT recieves the maximum amount of money possible.

Within 30 days of the sale of the vehicle, you will receive a thank you letter, which you may use as a tax receipt for vehicles that sell for $500 or less.
